Prof. Chijioke Ikokwu is the President and Chief Executive of The Ivy League Leadership Academy; as well as Chief Consultant & Lead Faculty of the Development Consultancy Unit of the Academy. Prof. Chijioke C. Ikokwu is a distinguished scholar-practitioner in International Development and Education with over two decades of leadership across education, management, international relations, and diplomacy. He serves as President, Chief Consultant & Lead Faculty of The Ivy League Leadership Academy, where he leads the Development Consultancy Unit.

A Professor of International Development/Education, Prof. Ikokwu combines academic rigor with practical policy expertise. He brings a unique blend of intellectual depth, extensive policy networks, and credibility with development partners. As an avid advisor on Public Policy and Governance, he has spent 20+ years guiding federal and state governments, development partners, and regional bodies.
Global & Institutional Exposure:
Prof. Ikokwu’s international credentials include serving as Nigeria’s National Correspondent at the Malta-based United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and UNESCO Future Generations Program from 1996 to 1999. In this role, he interfaced with governments, private sector, religious institutions, and civil society to advance sustainable development and intergenerational equity. He is a Fellow of the Embassy of Ukraine and has held Visiting Fellow and Professor positions at key universities in Ukraine, Switzerland, and the United States. He also serves as Visiting Fellow at leading African and international policy schools.
