About the EED Centre: The Environment, Ecology and Development (EED) Centre is a flagship initiative of The Ivy League Leadership Academy, dedicated to advancing sustainable development through research, policy engagement, capacity building, and global partnerships.  


The Centre serves as a dynamic platform for addressing critical environmental and development challenges facing Nigeria, Africa, and the global community. 


 At the intersection of science, policy, and leadership, the EED Centre promotes innovative solutions that balance ecological sustainability with socio-economic growth.

Ecological Studies and Research: The EED Centre conducts cutting-edge ecological research aimed at understanding environmental systems, biodiversity conservation, climate change impacts, and natural resource management. Our interdisciplinary approach integrates environmental science, data analytics, and policy research to generate evidence-based solutions. We focus on: Climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies Biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration Environmental impact assessments Sustainable land, water, and energy systems Urban ecology and green infrastructure Through partnerships with universities, research institutions, and global experts, the Centre contributes to both local and international ecological knowledge systems. 

2. Environmental Consulting Services: The EED Centre provides high-level environmental consulting services to government agencies, private sector organizations, and international development partners. Our consulting arm is designed to support sustainable decision-making and regulatory compliance while promoting environmental stewardship. Our services include: Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) Sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) advisory Climate risk and resilience assessments Environmental policy development and review Capacity building for environmental governance We combine global best practices with local expertise to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.

AGRICULTURAL TRADES CENTRE
The Agricultural Trades Centre develops technically competent professionals capable of meeting the operational and managerial demands of the modern agricultural sector. The curriculum integrates crop production, animal husbandry, aquaculture, fisheries, and piggery management within a framework of sustainable and commercially viable practice.  

Trainees receive comprehensive instruction in soil science, irrigation systems, crop protection, greenhouse technology, and post-harvest handling. In livestock and animal husbandry, modules cover breeding, nutrition, disease control, and farm management for cattle, goats, sheep, poultry, and rabbits. Specialized training in piggery management addresses housing design, biosecurity protocols, feed optimization, and market systems. 

 The aquaculture and fisheries components provide practical expertise in pond and recirculating system design, hatchery operations, water quality control, fish nutrition, and regulatory compliance. 

 Emphasis is also placed on agribusiness fundamentals, farm economics, cooperative management, supply chain logistics, mechanization, and climate-smart agriculture. Delivery combines theoretical instruction with supervised field practice and industry-aligned projects. 

 Graduates are certified for roles in commercial agriculture, agro-processing, fisheries enterprises, extension services, and agribusiness development.

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY CENTRE
Build in-demand tech skills in software development, networking, cybersecurity, and digital systems support. The program combines coding labs, hardware troubleshooting, and project-based learning. Graduates earn certification to work as IT technicians, developers, and digital support specialists across industries.
BUILDING TECHNOLOGY TRADES CENTRE
Learn construction fundamentals including masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical installation, and building drawing. Training emphasizes safety standards, modern materials, and project management. Certified trainees are prepared for roles on construction sites, facility maintenance, and contracting.
AUTOMOBILE TECHNOLOGY TRADES CENTRE
Develop expertise in vehicle diagnostics, engine systems, auto-electrics, and maintenance for cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Driving and Operations of Heavy duty vehicles, Forklift, Trucks etc. The center uses workshop simulations and real vehicles for hands-on practice. Certification qualifies you as an auto technician, diagnostics specialist, or service advisor.
TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICAL TRADES CENTRE
Gain skills in supply chain management, freight operations, warehousing, and transport coordination. The program covers logistics software, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Graduates are certified for careers in shipping, fleet management, and distribution networks.
TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY CENTRE
Train in hotel operations, culinary arts, front office management, event planning, and customer service. Students practice in simulated hotel and kitchen environments. Certification opens doors to roles in hotels, restaurants, airlines, and tourism agencies locally and abroad. .
TESL–TESOL ENGLISH CENTRE
The TESL–TESOL English Centre of The Ivy League Leadership Academy is a premier hub for global English language education and teacher training, dedicated to empowering individuals with world-class communication and instructional skills. 

TESOL, which stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, focuses on equipping learners and educators to effectively use and teach English in diverse international environments. 

At our Centre, we provide a dynamic blend of academic excellence, practical training, and global exposure. Our programs are designed for students, professionals, and aspiring educators who seek to master English proficiency or build a rewarding career in English language teaching locally and internationally. 

Learners are guided through all core language competencies—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while emphasizing real-life communication, confidence, and fluency.

For aspiring teachers, our TESL–TESOL pathways deliver industry-relevant training in modern teaching methodologies, classroom management, lesson planning, and learner engagement. Participants gain hands-on experience through micro-teaching sessions, peer collaboration, and expert mentorship, ensuring they are fully prepared for real classroom environments.
